Stephanie Melgoza of Farmington was sentenced to 14 years in prison Thursday, April 27, 2023 for the DUI-related deaths of Andrea Rosewicz, 43, and Paul Prowant, 55, on April 10, 2022 on North Main Street in East Peoria. Tazewell County Judge Tim Cusack said he didn’t expect his sentence for Stephanie Melgoza to satisfy anyone fully, but he believed it was the fairest decision.
